You will be picked up from your hotel, then
taken for a short drive to the ferry boat which
will take you up the Bosphorus into the Marmara
Sea.
During the cruise you will see the Asian side,
lots of fishermen in small boats and many
beautiful yachts. We will pass three islands on
our way to the biggest island, Buyukada, where
we will disembark for the day.
You will first notice that there are no cars
on the island.
People walk or use horse drawn carriages for
longer distances.
Authentic Turkish Lunch
Served
Buyukada is famous for its beautiful gardens
and forests full of pine trees. You can find a
place of worship for all religious sects. There
are mosques, synagogues, churches and
monasteries throughout the island. After lunch
you can take a tour of the island on foot or by
horse-carriage. It is a
good opportunity to relax and enjoy the lovely
nature of the island. It is a world by itself
and you will want to return there again.
